Suggesion Of Place
Every now and then I step outside my seriously abstract box and paint something you might actually recognize. These are my takes on landscapes.
I’m drawn to places that are often overlooked—the wide-open, barren landscapes where there may be very little to see, yet the view changes constantly with the movement of the sun, the clouds and the approaching darkness.
I’m not interested in faithfully documenting these places. I’m interested in what happens when I reduce them to what I find compelling and leave the rest to you.
