I've done of number of this style over the years and am still drawn to it. I seriously like the rawness, the monochromatic color scheme and how the deep black adds drama and boldly enhances the color. The imagination says landscape, but that wasn't what was on my mind as I was creating it. It was more a color study and a way to really make it stand out, as well as to tie it all together.

Moody, large and gorgeously green, Untitled In Green will be the focal point of any room as it begs to be taken in. Acrylic on canvas, with paint applied with brushes, brayers, rags and palette knives. Copious amounts of water was used to blend and drip as well.
