The Map

Similar to Future Plans in my Raw Series, The Map is a layout of suburbia. With most of the signature lines connected in some fashion, they resemble streets and homes in a view from above. I appreciate how yellow, gray and black work together adding tension yet balance simultaneously. And the red? Why not? That extra splash of color adds just the right amount of interest to our "neighborhood".

This medium/large acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas with 1.5" white sides demands attention with its negative space and stark contrasts.
