Cool colors with highlights in black create a very cool contrast with this 18" x 18" x 1.5" acrylic on cradled wood panel.  Texture, negative space and a sense of disorganization display in an unusual fashion.  I've come to realize the black lines I've been using for years have an electrical feel to them, especially the very thin ones.  The spontaneity of how they appear on the surface evokes feelings of rapid movement, much like the speed and nervousness of electricity.  The make a great accent over the beautiful color palette.

Created with brayers, palette knives, various texture mediums, rags and stiff brushes.  All my paintings feature the highest quality Golden brand acrylics.  Images shown framed are for demonstration purposes only.
