Drama in glorious color, Redrum is another in my Raw series, complete with the signature square marks and lines. There is nothing subtle about this piece as it grabs you by the collar and shouts "look at me!!". Painted with furious speed and abandon, my goal for Redrum was to re-establish the raw in my Raw series. Fiery red/orange works with the skies of blue and black shadows to make its impact of our "city" established by the square shapes. Slashes in the blue and white are meant to add an intentional thoughtlessness to the composition of our impact on nature.
