Wear, age, time, weather, yet still offering a sense of beauty. Themes from the Raw series. Some recent pieces offer a more colorful palette, and this one is no exception. Blue and yellow combine to add a gorgeous green underneath the telltale cryptic lines and shapes of the series, representing man's impact on natural beauty. We take a bucolic setting and imprint our mark upon it. Here that imprint represents the suburbs, as we move further out from the metropolitan area in an attempt to take back the beauty of countryside. Note that these pieces are less a judgement on how we impact our world, than they are a simple observation.
