I always find it fascinating how white behaves when applied in various fashions on top of my underpainting. What began as a mostly black canvas with reds, yellows and blues (you have to look hard and close up to find those) resulted in a spectacular variation of shades of white and gray. The yellow and yellow oxide were added later, then after drying, the signature black lines and marks.

To date this is one of my favorites in the series, although that seems to change as I create new additions. This one does however capture the essence of my initial thought was when I began this specific artistic direction.

A nice sized piece at 30 x 48", it can be delivered stretched, or in a roll, as it currently lives un-stretched. Free shipping as a rolled canvas.
