More interesting background work combining umber and variations of yellow and orange to achieve the beautiful background. Heavy application of raw umber, allowed to almost dry, then sprayed with water to remove some. Next step added variations of yellows and browns blended just right and again, removed.

Nothing stands out more on orange red than teal. It glows when on top as you can clearly see. My standard Raw lines are then applied along with a little extra black, let set for a bit, then carefully removed to allow the colors to be the stars in this piece. A truly strikingly colorful work!

No brushes used on this painting. Black frame with white mat included.
