Visually exciting, Raw #101 takes a leap forward with dramatic colors, but with the lines and marks with which all in the series are associated. Somewhat less prominent than some of my previous works but still quite interesting, the shapes created with the black lines are still a co-star in this painting. Rough, raw, apparently haphazard, the application of acrylic paint and a healthy amount of texture went into the creation of the background upon which the shapes float.

Medium applied with rollers, rags, palette knives, fingers, brayers and spatulas.
