Off In the Distance is another loosely defined landscape, which began with a lightly textured background of various shades of blue and some marks here and there. "What can I do wit this?"

The process of throwing down paint and responding to it begins. Complimentary shades of orange and browns, along with white, divided up the canvas. Scratches reveal some blue background, and I left a hint of it here and there. Mysterious black lines or shadows appear adding another level of interest and perspective.

As with all my work, there is rarely a preset direction. I see, I respond. I see, I respond . . . Until I'm satisfied, as that is the only motivation I have for my work.

This piece ships framed and is included in the price when using my framing vendor. Note that I don't purchase the frame until the painting is sold, so you have a choice of frame color.
