Naturally Neutral #6 continues my most recent trend of depicting a natural or neutral palette.  The primary motivation is an attempt at recreating natural geologic patterns such as interesting rock formations/color schemes, as in a vein of some unknown variety in the side of a mountain or stone.  Heavy acrylics used to create the background give relief to the canvas' surface and show well under light, as you can see the palette knife marks and textures which enhance the overarching feel of the painting.  Other things I see in this piece include flow, clouds, and even a satellite view of a lake being fed by tributaries.

While this piece was painted in the portrait orientation, it also works in landscape.  That'll be your choice.  Either way, with the palette as it is, you can put it pretty much anywhere in your home or office.  Images shown framed are for demonstration purposes only.  I can direct you to a favorite online custom framing shop here in the US if desired, that provides excellent variety, price and customer service.
