As I've mentioned over the years, my earliest impressions of visits to the art museum here in St. Louis in the 60's were of minimalist and abstract works. I'd wondered why what I was looking at was considered art. Honestly, I still do, but I like it, and I don't know why. But isn't that what makes art so great?
