Mood piece in blue.  Four in the foreground.  This painting took a couple days to perfect.  There are no less than eight layers on this one.  I wanted the initial scratchy black and white background to show through, but be subdued enough to only hint its presence.  Brushes, brayers, rags, fingers and spatulas, all used to apply the acrylic paint and ink.
