Cool colors are accentuated/contrasted by stark blacks and shades of white, evoking a feeling of calm.

The blending and application of these acrylic colors was done with a variety of brayers. Some softer rubber, some hard. Each gives a different look and feel and work together nicely. The black lines are applied straight from the bottle, then worked gently to acheive the look I'm shooting for.

The images shown framed are for demonstration purposes. Acrylic on cradled birch panel with 1.5" white painted sides. Ships signed, varnished and ready for hanging.
