I worked in reverse on this abstract, applying the line and shape first, blending some of the wet black paint in with the light colors later applied with water. As with a good number of my recent paintings, the style is obvious and prevalent. While there is more of a sense of connection with this piece, I added the top right to leave someone or something "out of the loop".
