Imagination required. It's the over-arching theme for most of my work and abstracts in general, but more so with the landscapes I create. You'll typically find a horizon of some sort, but it'll take your eye to make determinations from there. While this piece is a touch more obvious with a blue "sky" and a brownish "field" in the foreground, you'll have to decide where it goes from there.
