I lived with this one for two months before finishing. My initial feel was it was too dark, too much gray and black. I added a little titan white wash to some of the darker areas, and saturated the colors a bit to liven things up and give it more vibrance. I also added many more shapes resulting in the top to bottom cascade of quadrilaterals, whereas the original had just two.

The feeling of my Raw series has become somewhat of a permanent part of my work and is quite obvious here. I added a little charcoal and white graphite for a little added interest. Again, a sense of wear and time come through, a goal I've moved toward the past two or three years.
