It's What We Do

As a species, we tend to take a lovely bucolic part of our world and add our own "special" touch.  As in condos on the beach, in the mountains, on the plains, anywhere people might want to get away to.  In the process we reshape what was once a place of natural beauty, into whatever the heck it's become.  And this is less a criticism than it is simply an observation.  

This piece and others like it are my take on the transformation that takes place once we've indelibly made our mark on the natural world, like it or not.
