Raw Series

While I appreciate things that most everyone considers "beautiful", my current Raw Series asks that we consider beauty outside the ordinary; age, wear, time, weathering and the urban life where I reside.  There is definite tension in these pieces, bordering not quite on anger, but aggressiveness, primarily a result of the apparent haphazardness of the cryptic black lines and accents.  

My appreciation for the abstract leans more towards this direction specifically.  Similarities abound, yet their differences are quite obvious.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I did in creating them.
